English: This division of F9F-5 Panther jets flew the last Marine Corps mission of the Korean War, 27 July 1953. The mission was close air support to assist a Korean Marine Corps battalion at Kalmu-Bong. Pictured: unidentified (furthest right); Maj. Jonathan de Sola Mendes (2nd from right), the operations officer; Major Mike Cannon (3rd from right); and unidentified (4th from right).
