Summary[edit]
| Description |
English: A convoy of Routemaster buses, operating the 2009 Imber bus service, the once a year service connecting the abandoned village of Imber in Wiltshire, to the rest of the world. The village of Imber was evacuated during World War II, and is now part of the Salisbury Plain army training estate. RML2665 (closest), RM25 (middle) & RML2344 (furthest away), are pictured here from the top deck of RML2735. They're all heading west with the last journey of the day from Tilshead to Warminster, pictured here inside the training area, approaching Imber. See this image for a picture of the same convoy a little earlier, closer to Gore Cross. |
