Deutsch: Vorderseite: ΠO [retrograd]. Ein nackter, nur mit einem Mantel und einem Hut bekleideter Mann hat eine nach r. stürmende Stierprotome an den Hörnern gepackt.

Rückseite: Λ-A-P-I. Ein gezäumtes Pferdevorderteil im Galopp nach l. Darunter als Beizeichen eine Sandale.

Kommentar: Die Münze zeigt wohl eine Szene aus Stierspielen (taurokathapsia), die in Thessalien ihren Ursprung hatten. Ein Mann verfolgte zunächst reitend einen Stier. Wenn er diesen eingeholt hatte, ließ er sich vom Pferd gleiten und bändigte ihn. In der Szene auf dieser Münze hat der Mann zwar den Boden unter den Füßen verloren, scheint aber die Situation noch zu beherrschen. Die Stierkampfszene ist auf der Vs. dieser Münze zu sehen, die Rs. ist eventuell thematisch zugehörig und zeigt sein Pferd. Die Münzen von Pherai ebenfalls in Thessalien zeigen sehr ähnliche Szenen.
