Deutsch: Vorderseite: Ein nackter, nur mit einem Mantel und einem Hut bekleideter Mann hat einen nach l. stürmenden Stier an den Hörnern gepackt. Vor dem Stier und zwischen den Beinen des Mannes entsprießen der Abschnittslinie Pflanzen.

Rückseite: ΛA-PIΣAI. Ein gezäumtes Pferd im Galopp nach r. Das Ganze in quadratum incusum.

Kommentar: Die Münze zeigt wohl eine Szene aus Stierspielen (taurokathapsia), die in Thessalien ihren Ursprung hatten. Ein Mann verfolgte zunächst reitend einen Stier. Wenn er diesen eingeholt hatte, ließ er sich vom Pferd gleiten und bändigte ihn. Die Stierkampfszene ist auf der Vs. dieser Münze zu sehen, die Rs. ist eventuell thematisch zugehörig und zeigt sein Pferd. Die Münzen von Pherai ebenfalls in Thessalien zeigen sehr ähnliche Szenen.
