Permission (Reusing this file) |
The bottles are not subject to copyright (see Ets-Hokin v. Skyy Spirits, Inc.). The labels on the Lantenhammer bottles consist only of text that is not a literary work (and is therefore also not subject to copyright), and, in some cases, a symbol (that is either a simple geometric design not subject to copyright, or is not clearly depicted, or both). The picture of the apricot on the b'soffene Marille (drunken Apricot) bottle at the far right, and the partially obscured beer advertising sign in the background, are both acceptable as de minimis in relation to this version of the image, as they are depicted here as small parts of a larger work, and neither the b'soffene Marille nor the beer is a Lantenhammer product.
