| Description |
Deutsch: Die Bonifatiuskapelle Laufenen ist eine schlichte Feldkapelle. Sie wird bereits im 13. Jhd. erwähnt. Ob Teile der offensichtlich sehr alten Kapelle aus dieser Zeit stammen, ist nicht sicher geklärt. Allerdings finden sich innen alte Rötelzeichnungen, eine davon aus den Jahr 1515.
1983 fand man während einer Renovierung ein mit Pergament verschlossenes und versiegeltes Glas. Es enthielt drei Knochenfragmente, die anhand der Beschriftung als Reliquien der Heiligen Justin, Felix und Konstantin identifiziert wurden. Der Förderkreis Heimatkunde Tettnang nahm sich der Angelegenheit an. Nach längeren Recherchen kamen die Beteiligten zu dem Schluss, dass es sich bei den Heiligen wahrscheinlich um Justin, den Glaubenskämpfer, Felix, den Patron von Zürich, und Konstantin, Soldat der thebäischen Legion, handelt. |
