Summary[edit]

Description Lake Worth Bridge is a 1973 bascule bridge carrying Florida Route 802 (and Lake Avenue) across the Intracoastal Waterway in Lake Worth, Florida. It is actually two bridges side-by-side, each with a single-leaf bascule section. In this photo, from the northeast (or, more precisely, the ENE), its two bacule draw spans are opened to allow a dredge ship to pass.
