This picture is more an artist's imagining than a representation of anything real. The systematized Portage Bay (not even the main body of Lake Union which would be to the left out of frame, the bridge at Montlake entirely unlike the one that was eventually built in the 1930s, and the imaginary road system for a very green North Capitol Hill and Montlake are entirely figments of the artist's imagination.
