Summary[edit]

Description
English: Lady of the Lake rides the Ullswater waves. Strong westerly winds (note the stern flag!) help the Lady of the Lake on its way to Howtown. All sailings had been cancelled the day before due to the gales sweeping across Cumbria. According to the Steamers own publicity, the Lady was launched on 26th June 1877 and is believed to be the oldest working passenger vessel in the world.
