| Description | A Análise Espectrométrica (Spectrometric Oil Analysis Program), tem por objetivo avaliar a taxa de desgaste das superfícies dos componentes e a taxa de contaminação da amostra recolhida. Assim, quanto maior se verificar a taxa de contaminação das amostras de óleo, recolhidas sucessivamente, maior será o risco de falência de algum componente. Através destas análises mede-se a concentração dos diferentes elementos químicos, num determinado momento, e, sobretudo, a taxa de contaminação com esses elementos. A concentração de um dado elemento químico exprime-se em “ppm” (partes por milhão) em que 1 ppm equivale a 1 miligrama de um determinado elemento por cada quilograma de óleo (o que implica a pesagem da amostra recolhida). A taxa de contaminação exprime-se em miligramas por hora. |
