Español: La obra representa a Santa Clara de Asís profesando sus votos en presencia de San Francisco de Asís, lo que tuvo lugar en la capilla de la Porciúncula de Asís en la festividad del Domingo de Ramos de 1212. Y conviene señalar que esta obra formó parte de un conjunto de lienzos que Juan Ruiz Soriano ejecutó para el desaparecido convento de San Francisco de Sevilla, que fue demolido en 1841.
