Oui vous avez bien lu, cette église au patronage de l'Annonciation de la Vierge Marie a eu le droit à un qualificatif assez inhabituel. Pour le comprendre, il faut revenir à sa création puisque à proximité de nombreux prairies verdoyantes prenaient place. Après plusieurs traductions et siècles plus tard, les prairies ont disparus mais le nom resta. L'église eu droit à un gros chamboulement dans la seconde moitié du XIXe siècle lui donnant son aspect néo-gothique actuel. Un second surnom fut donné "Na Slupi", qu'on peut traduire par pilier et qui a donné le nom à la rue, c'est cette fois-ci descriptif puisque du fait de sa taille réduite, la voute de l'église ne tient que sur un seul pilier central. A la fin du XVIIIe siècle et du XXe siècle, l'église fut fermée faute d'activité mais pour autant, ça repart toujours. Il faut croire que ces petits sobriquets plaisent puisque malgré sa taille réduite, l'édifice fut repris en 1995 par le culte orthodoxe pour y installer cette fois un patronage de la très Sainte Théotokos (juste une traduction orthodoxe de la Vierge Marie, ils auraient pu faire un effort).
