Català: La Tècnica de Construcció de Murs de Pedra en Sec és un element inclòs a l'inventari del patrimoni cultural immaterial del Parc Natural del Cadí-Moixeró, inventari realitzat per Institut del Patrimoni Cultural Immaterial (IPACIM).

Les construccions de pedra en sec són aquelles que s’aixequen utilitzant pedres de l’entorn proper i sense cap material de cohesió, com podria ser la calç o el guix. Aquesta tècnica de construcció està documentada al Berguedà almenys des del segle XVIII, concretament a Gósol i Vallcebre.

Tradicionalment, els practicants d’aquesta tècnica han estat persones que combinaven la seva feina al camp o al bosc amb tasques puntuals d’aixecament i restauració de murs. Acostumaven a ser els mateixos propietaris de les cases, horts o parcel·les de Gósol. Amb la crisi dels sistemes tradicionals d’explotació dels entorns rurals, aquestes construccions van davallar de manera dràstica, i actualment la seva construcció ha passat a mans dels constructors especialitzats, popularment coneguts com a paletes.


English: The Dry Stone Wall Construction Technique is an element included in the inventory of the intangible cultural heritage of the Cadí-Moixeró Natural Park, an inventory carried out by the Institute of Immaterial Cultural Heritage (IPACIM).

Dry stone constructions are those that are erected using stones from the nearby environment and without any cohesive material, such as lime or plaster. This construction technique has been documented in Berguedà since at least the 18th century, specifically in Gósol and Vallcebre.

Traditionally, the practitioners of this technique have been people who combined their work in the field or in the forest with specific tasks of erecting and restoring walls. They used to be the same owners of the houses, orchards or plots of land in Gósol. With the crisis of the traditional systems of exploitation of rural environments, these constructions declined drastically, and currently their construction has passed into the hands of specialized builders, popularly known as masons.

Las construcciones de piedra en seco son aquellas que se levantan utilizando piedras del entorno cercano y sin ningún material de cohesión, como podría ser la cal o el yeso. Esta técnica de construcción está documentada en el Berguedà al menos desde el siglo XVIII, concretamente en Gósol y Vallcebre.

Tradicionalmente, los practicantes de esta técnica han sido personas que combinaban su trabajo en el campo o en el bosque con tareas puntuales de levantamiento y restauración de muros. Solían ser los propios propietarios de las casas, huertos o parcelas de Gósol. Con la crisis de los sistemas tradicionales de explotación de los entornos rurales, estas construcciones bajaron de forma drástica, y actualmente su construcción ha pasado a manos de los constructores especializados, popularmente conocidos como albañiles.
