« Brest est une porte : porte de l’audace et du voyage, de la nécessité aussi… Porte Océane, porte ouverte sur le Monde. Les voyageurs, les travailleurs de la mer, les travailleurs du port, tous ceux qui fabriquent et entretiennent les fils de la grande machine du départ, sont là dans cette porte et cet hommage. Il y a de grands lieux de départ, Brest en est un : le départ remue les quais et les maisons, les silos et les grues, les chaînes de missions à accomplir, et fait que la Ville change et remue avec lui. » Véronique Millour et Philippe Meffroy Inaugurée le 28 septembre 2013 un-pas-sage.com/porte-oceane-commande-publique/ "Brest is a door: door of audacity and travel, of necessity too… Ocean door, door open to the world.
