Français : L'avenue Saint-Sacrement, à Québec, en 1916 « Bien malin qui pourrait deviner quelle rue apparaît sur cette photo de 1916. Si ce n'est que de quelques indices dans la topographie, difficile de croire qu'il s'agit de l'avenue Saint-Sacrement, aujourd'hui importante artère qui relie la basse ville et la haute ville. Point de repère important à l'horizon sur la photo de 2016, l'église du Très-Saint-Sacrement n'était pas encore construite. On trouvait plutôt une petite église de bois déménagée en 1920 pour faire place à l'église que l'on connaît aujourd'hui, inaugurée en 1923. » - Valérie Gaudreau |
