Description

Note:
This statue was used initially by Jesuit monks as propaganda idea of the catholic counter-reformation for the adoration of the Virgin Mary. There were reported several wonder testimonies around this sculpture in 1652. During the reign of Joseph II as Emperor of the Holy Roman Empire of German Nation (reign 1765-1790) it was forbidden to show and any cult in combination with this figure, but in the 19th century this cult arose from new.
