DescriptionLMFBR schematics2-zh.svg	English: A schematic of the two types of liquid metal fast breeder reactor (LMFBR), a fast neutron reactor designed to breed fuel by producing more fissile material than it consumes. FBRs are used in nuclear power plants to produce nuclear power from nuclear fuel. LMFBRs are cooled by liquid sodium, but other metals have been used in the past. Français : Vue schématique d'un surgénérateur à métal liquide (en anglais). Un surgénérateur est un réacteur à neutrons rapides qui permet de produire plus de matériel fissile qu'il n'en consomme. En général cette classe de réacteurs utilise comme caloporteur le sodium liquide. Historiquement, d'autres métaux ont été utilisés.
