Description LC-DIG-HEC-35179: U.S. Navy submarine, V-4, arrives at the Washington Navy Yard, November 20, 1928. Shown is Lieutenant Commander W.M. Quigley, commanding officer during this time stands next to one of the 6 inch deck guns. Photographed by Harris & Ewing. V-4 later became USS Argonaut and was sunk by Japanese destroyers off Rabaul on January 10, 1943. (7/10/2015).
