Title
LANCUM-738597: Probably Roman or medieval tweezers
Description
English: Cast cu-alloy tweezers, probably dating from the Roman or medieval period, i.e. ca. AD43-1600. The tweezers are bent and undecorated and not in a very good condition which makes it very difficult to determine their date. Tweezers like these are known from Roman cosmetic sets (together with a small ear scoop and a nail cleaner) as well as from medieval cosmetic sets giving these objects, if undecorated, a very wide date range.
