Description
Deutsch: Kopie der Kursächsischen Distanzsäule vom Bautzner Tor in Löbau, jetzt Neumarkt / Promenadenring vor der Stadtmauer, rechts die Innere Bautzner Straße
  • Bez. 1725, aus Sandstein; Obelisk auf Sockel, mit Wappenstück sowie „AR“- Monogramm und Posthornzeichen.
  • Stand ursprünglich am Bautzner Tor, wurde jedoch abgerissen.
  • 1953 Wiederentdeckung des Wappenstücks. 1957 Kopie der Säule durch den Ebersbacher Bildhauer Hempel. Das originale Wappenstück wurde nicht verwendet und ist verschollen.
  • 1971 farbliche Überarbeitung der Säule durch Malermeister Rimpel (Löbau).
