Deutsch: Wie entsteht Hubschrauberlärm?
DLR-Forscher haben erstmals die Hauptursache für den Lärm eines fliegenden Hubschraubers sichtbar gemacht. In aufwendigen Flugexperimenten in einem Steinbruch konnten sie zeigen, dass die typischen Geräusche durch die Kollision von Blattspitzenwirbeln mit denen von anderen Rotorblättern entstehen.
