Rückseite: K-Y/Ψ-E. Zweihenkliger Becher (kotyle oder kypsele), darüber ein Knöchel (astragalos).

Kommentar: Beim Rückseitenmotiv handelt es sich um ein sprechendes Bild, da der Stadtname im Griechischen ein zweihenkliges Gefäß bezeichnet, dabei waren die Henkel wohl in realiter wie bei der Gefäßform der Kotyle waagerecht angesetzt, erscheinen hier aber aus darstellungstechnischen Gründen senkrecht. Die autonome Münzprägung von Kypsela beginnt auf Grund stilistischer Vergleiche des gezeigten Hermeskopfes mit demjenigen auf Münzen von Ainos wohl um 425 v. Chr. und endet bald im 4. Jh. wieder, da dann thrakische Dynasten Kypsela als Münzstätte nutzen.
