Summary[edit]

Description
Eesti: Optilise mikroskoobiga Eclipse LV150 tehtud pilt kulla kilega kaetud puidu pinnast. Antud uuringute raames kanti puidule üliõhuke kullast kile ning uuriti kahe materjali omavahelist nakkumist. Pilt on tehtud Tartu Ülikooli füüsika instituudi kiletehnoloogia laboris, kus uuritakse üliõhukeste materjalikihtide valmistamist ja nende võimalikke praktilisi rakendusi.
English: An image taken from the surface of wood covered with gold film with an Eclipse LV150 optical microscope. In the framework of these studies, an ultra-thin gold film was applied to the wood and the adhesion of the two materials was examined. The picture was taken in the film technology laboratory of the Institute of Physics of the University of Tartu, where the production of ultra-thin layers of material and their possible practical applications are studied.
