Description

العربية: تعتبر هذه المنارة هي حلقة الوصل بين العصر العباسي وما اعقبه من احتلال المغول لبغداد حيث شيدت هذه المنارة حسب قول ابن كثير سنة 479 هجرية 1086 ميلادية " وفي ربيع الاخر فرغت المنارة بجامع القصر واذن فيها " اي في عهد الخليفة المقتدي بأمر الله وان جامع القصر او الخليفة قد أنشا ايام الخليفة المكتفي بالله ابن المعتضد سنة. وعند دخول المغول الى بغداد وسقوط خلافة بني العباس بعد قتل الخليفة المستعصم بالله اضرمت النار في بغداد لأيام, فاحترقت المباني والدور والمساجد وهذا ما حصل مع جامع القصر ومنارته لكن هولاكو امر بإعادة بناء جامع الخليفة قبل مغادرة بغداد.
