Een duif als symbool van de Heilige Geest houdt een kroon boven zijn hoofd. Een engel draagt zijn kruis. Heiligen knielen in aanbidding voor deze Drieëenheid, herkenbaar aan hun attributen zijn onder andere de heiligen Petrus en Paulus, Catharina van Alexandrië en Barbara. De bijbeltekst onder de voorstelling verwijst naar Matteüs 10:34 en luidt: Denk niet dat ik gekomen ben om op aarde vrede te brengen. Ik ben niet gekomen om vrede te brengen, maar het zwaard. Een tekst die niet direct van toepassing is op het voorgestelde.
