Deutsch: Eine Diskussion über Kollnaus Kriegerdenkmal organisierten die "Ideenwerkstatt Waldkirch in der Nazizeit" und der "Arbeitskreis Widerstand und Arbeitergeschichte" in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Waldkircher Stadtarchiv und der katholischen Seelsorgeeinheit. Den Rahmen bildete der alljährliche bundesweite Tag des offenen Denkmals, der am 14. September 2014 unter dem Motto "Farbe" ausgerichtet wurde. Ortsvorsteherin Gabi Schindler diskutierte mit Interessenten über den Umgang mit dem Denkmal und schlug vor, das Denkmal von seinem prominenten Platz vor der St. Josef-Kirche abzutragen und in stark reduzierter Form (etwa mit den Namen der Toten und einem der Soldaten-Standbilder von Erwin Krumm) in den Friedhof zu verlegen. Andere setzen sich für die Erhaltung des Monuments ein, allerdings versehen mit aufklärenden Infotafeln. |
