Krause was the name of a machine factory in Leipzig, Laube the short form of the German word Gartenlaube. The Krause factory produced such small garden houses for the allotments of its workers. (1896)

Description
Deutsch: Die Krause-Laube wurde 1896 im Kleingartenverein Leipzig-Sellerhausen aufgestellt. Dieser Laubentyp wurde von der Maschinenfabrik Krause & Co. Leipzig gegen Ende des 19.Jahrhunderts zur einheitlichen Ausstattung der betriebseigenen Kleingartenanlagen entwickelt.
