Description
Deutsch: Sie ist neun Meter hoch und achtzehn Tonnen schwer. Die Figur des Künstlers Peter Lenk nimmt Bezug auf eine Edelkurtisane des 16. Jh. gleichen Namens. Honoré de Balzac, der berühmte französische Romancier, versetzte die historische Persönlichkeit in die Zeit des Konstanzer Konzils und setzte ihr in seinen „Tolldreisten Geschichten“ ein literarisches Denkmal. Auf ihren Händen trägt sie König Sigismund (rechts) und den auf dem Konzil gewählten Papst Martin V. (links).
