W latach 1875-1919 cerkiew prawos³awna. Otoczony betonowym murem. Przed koœcio³em, w pn.-wsch. naro¿niku cmentarza koœcielnego, wolnostoj¹ca dzwonnica z 1838 r. Pratulin to staropolska wieœ szlachecka na obszarze Parku Krajobrazowego "Podlaski Prze³om Bugu", malowniczo po³o¿ona nad zakolem Bugu w otoczeniu wzgórz morenowych. Poza wsi¹ znajduj¹ siê malownicze ³êgi i liczne starorzecza otoczone ³¹kami. Wieœ istnia³a ju¿ w 1478 roku. Pratulin znany jest z bohaterskiego oporu unitów, broni¹cych swej œwi¹tyni. Mia³o to miejsce 24 stycznia 1874 roku, kiedy do zgromadzonych na przycerkiewnym cmentarzu unitów, ¿o³nierze carscy (Kozacy) otworzyli ogieñ. Zginê³o 13 unitów. |
