Description
Deutsch: Der vor der linken Torsäule (Haus Knopf (Freiburg) 1.jpg) des Hause Knopf eingelassene Stolperstein. Dieser erinnert an Betty Knopf, die 1940 deportiert und in Tötungsanstalt Schloss Grafeneck ermordet wurde.
Nach Auskunft von Bernd Serger liegt der Stolperstein jedoch an der falschen Stelle: Betty Knopf lebte nie in der Beethovenstraße, sondern wohnte vor ihrer Einlieferung in die psych. Klinik in Illenau bei Achern Mitte der 20er Jahre mit ihren Eltern, zuletzt mit der Mutter Rebekka Knopf im Haus Ludwigstraße 30 in Freiburg, das beim Luftangriff im November 1944 vollkommen zerstört wurde.
