Summary[edit]

Description
English: In the Andean region of Colombia, the preparation of "trama," encompassing a variety of baked goods like bread, sponge cakes, and cookies, is deeply ingrained in rural culture. This tradition involves patiently kneading wheat and flour, often following recipes passed down through generations. The trama serves not only as sustenance for the family over extended periods, such as fortnights or months, but also holds special significance when anticipating the arrival of a relative. Moreover, these delicacies are baked in wood-fired ovens by farmers, adding an extra layer of tradition and flavor to the process. This practice not only ensures the availability of fresh, homemade food but also strengthens familial bonds and preserves a vital aspect of the region's cultural identity.
