Description Das Kloster Marienwerder in Marienwerder (Hannover), Niedersachsen, Deutschland, wurde 1196 als Familienstiftung der Grafen von Roden gegründet. Die Grafen waren die ersten Stadtherren von Hannover. Die Kirche von ca. 1200 wurde 1858-1861 restauriert. Die derzeitige Klosteranlage entstammt dem 17./18. Jahrhundert.
