Description
Deutsch: Kloster Maria Engelport im Flaumbachtal bei Treis-Karden, Lourdesgrotte. Die Grotte wurde 1915 von russischen Kriegsgefangenen, die in der Klosterkirche einquartiert waren, gebaut. Der Bau begann im Juli 1915, Einweihung war 3. Oktober 1915. Im Laufe der Jahrzehnte wurde die Grotte baufällig, sodass sie 2006 aufwendig restauriert werden musste. Die der Muttergottes von Lourdes nachgebildete Marienstatue war bereits 1965 restauriert worden.
