English: The Lesser Evergreen (Vinca minor) is a cultural relic in Central Europe, which has been occurring since Roman times, but can also point to medieval settlements, here in the Taunus Nature Park near Weilburg in the excavation of the pilgrimage church "Im Pfannstiel". Since the long-distance spread occurs almost exclusively via humans, sites in the forest usually still indicate the location of former castles and settlements. |
