Deutsch: Die Dresdner Familie Grenser war in mehreren Generationen als Holzinstrumentenbauer tätig. Die Instrumente aus ihrer Werkstatt sind hervorragend gearbeitet und gelten als die besten ihrer Zeit. Im Jahr 1753 wurde dem Werkstattgründer Carl Augustin Grenser der Titel des kursächsischen Hofinstrumentenmachers verliehen. Zu seinen Kunden gehörte unter anderem auch Leopold Mozart. Der Instrumentenmacher Samuel Gottfried Wiesner übernahm 1811 diese Werkstatt von Johann Heinrich Wilhelm Grenser, dem Neffen des Firmengründers. 1813 heiratete er nach dessen Tod auch die Witwe Grensers. |
