Summary[edit]

Description
English: Kibera slum, one of the worst slums in Nairobi, had no working latrines in 1998 and sewage ran freely in gullies and streets. "Flying toilets," consisting of feces and urine deposited in shopping bags and thrown onto neighboring roofs, was a big problem.
