Description
Nederlands: Hoog in het uiterste noorden van Fryslân ligt Wierum, een dorp vlak achter de Waddezeedijk.

Vroeger een vissersdorp,maar in een zware sneeuwstorm in 1893 is bijna de hele vissersvloot door de golven verzwolgen. De toren van de kerk is een 12e eeuws tufstenen gebouw. De Kerk is van een veel latere darum.

Komt u in Fryslân dan is een omweg naar het hoge Wierum zeker de moeite waard.
