DescriptionKennywood Thunderbolt DSCN2744.JPG |
A scene from Kennywood, an amusement park located in West Mifflin, Pennsylvania on the Monongahela River. This is a view of the historic Thunderbolt ride. This Roller coaster ride dates to 1924. It started out as the Pippin but was reprofiled and expanded in 1967. It still uses 1958 vintage Century Flyer trains. In this view a train is descending the initial drop after the first lift hill. |
