Deutsch: Nachbildung des Bonner Brückenmännchen aus dem Jahre 2008. Befestigt am neuen Hochwasserschutz auf Beueler Seite. Ausführender Steinmetz: Michael Naundorf. Bronzetafeln: Sigrid Wenzel

Beschriftung der oberen Tafel:

Am Brückentor auf
der alten Rheinbrücke
gen Beuel gewandt,
dies kleine Männchen
sein Plätzchen fand.
Zum Trotz der Beueler
rief es ganz laut:
Bonn hat die Brücke
fast ganz alleine gebaut.


Beschriftung der unteren Tafel:

Brückenmännchen

Skulptur am Beueler Brückentor der 1898 fertiggestellten
Rheinbrücke als Pendant zum Brückenweibchen.
1945 nach der Zerstörung aus den Trümmern geborgen.
1949 beim Neubau der Brücke am Bonner Strompfeiler
in Richtung Süden wieder angebracht.
1960 durch Steinwürfe total zerstört.
2008 Aufstellung dieser Nachbildung bei der Neugestaltung
der Rheinuferpromenade im Zuge des Hochwasserschutzes.
