| Description |
English: Not a story but thousands and not a simple story but the whole story of humanity and life. A vortex in which emotions and feelings merge in every moment, in which in every face, in every relationship it is possible to see joy, love, interpenetration and pain. Although not knowing the deep meaning of Kartika Purnima that morning, humanity presented itself before my eyes in its immense and magnificent heterogeneity, giving me every human feeling, giving me the beauty of every single life, sending me smiles and despair, bewilderment and approval , participation and solitude. That morning, at sunrise, Varanasi and the Indian people gave me life.
Italiano: Non una storia ma migliaia e non una semplice storia ma l'intera storia dell'umanità e della vita. Un vortice in cui si fondono in ogni istante emozioni e sentimenti, in cui in ogni volto, in ogni relazione è possibile scorgere gioia, amore, compenetrazione e dolore. Pur non conoscendo il significato profondo del Kartika Purnima quella mattina, l'umanità si è presentata davanti ai miei occhi nella sua immensa e magnifica eterogeneità, regalandomi ogni sentimento umano, regalandomi la bellezza di ogni singola vita, trasmettendomi sorrisi e disperazione, sconcerto a approvazione, partecipazione e solitudine. Quella mattina, al sorgere del sole, Varanasi e il popolo indiano mi hanno regalato la vita.
