Description
Deutsch: Blick durch die Calenberger Straße in Hannover in Richtung Altstadt/Marktkirche, laut den Blindstempeln eine sogenannte "Moment-Aufnahme" aus dem Jahr "1890" durch den Fotografen Karl Friedrich Wunder. Gut zu erkennen sind - beiderseits des durch die Straße fahrenden Pferdeomnibusses - die vornehmlich in Fachwerkbauweise seit dem 17. Jahrhundert errichteten Gebäude, darunter etwa das Geburtshaus des Dichters Johann Anton Leisewitz (heutige Calenberger Straße 15). Die enge Bebauung mit den leicht brennbaren Baumaterialien war einer der Gründe, weshalb in der Calenberger Neustadt nur so wenige Gebäude die Luftangriffe auf Hannover im Zweiten Weltkrieg überdauerten ....
