Summary[edit]

Description
English: The konark sun temple takes the form of huge chariot for the sun god surya,with 12 pair of stone carved wheel and and a team of seven galloping horses.It was so built that the first ray of sun fall on the gigantic sun idol kept inside the main temple complex and even today we can tell the time by the rays of sun falling on the whell which as sundials. Once in 2000 year,the sun's rays reach the temple from the coast and reflect back from the diamond.
