Title
KENT-DDDFF8: axehead
Description
English: An incomplete biface flaked axe. Lenticular / biconvex cross section. Some damage to both faces. The cutting edge is slightly worn, but otherwise is in very good condition, suggesting very little or no usage. The uniformity and symmetry of the edge and the degree of retouching may suggest this was not intended for use. This may be a preform for a polished axe? Opaque white patination. Length: 57.4mm; width: 59.2mm; thickness: 29.3mm; weight: 101.22g.
