Deutsch: Der aus einer Quelle gespiesene Brunnen versorgte die beiden Küsnachter Gasthöfe "Fähnlibrunnen" und "Steinburg" mit Trinkwasser. Mit seiner Schweizerfahne ist er seit vielen Generationen ein Wahrzeichen des Quartiers. Um näher an das geschützte ehemalige Restaurant Fähnlibrunnen, einst beliebter Veranstaltungsort von Vereinen und Ort öffentlicher Versteigerungen, heranbauen zu können, wird der seitlich des Brunnens verlaufende öffentliche Weg nach Süden versetzt. Es handelt sich um den letzten erhaltenen Abschnitt eines historischen Transportwegs: Er verband den seit 1284 dokumentierten Weinberg und das Anfang 17. Jahrhundert erbaute Schloss im Wangensbach mit dem Hafen bei der Steinburg (genannt "Steinburghab").
English: The fountain, which is fed from a spring, used to supply the two Küsnacht inns "Fähnlibrunnen" and "Steinburg" with drinking water. With its Swiss flag, it has been a landmark of the neighbourhood for many generations. In order to be able to build closer to the protected former Fähnlibrunnen restaurant, once a popular venue for clubs and public auctions, the public path running alongside the fountain is being moved to the south. This is the last remaining section of a historic transport route: it connected the vineyard documented since 1284 and the castle built in the Wangensbach at the beginning of the 17th century with the harbour near the Steinburg (called "Steinburghab").
Français : La fontaine, alimentée par une source, alimentait en eau potable les deux auberges de Küsnacht "Fähnlibrunnen" et "Steinburg". Avec son drapeau suisse, elle est l'emblème du quartier depuis de nombreuses générations. Afin de pouvoir construire plus près de l'ancien restaurant protégé Fähnlibrunnen, qui était autrefois un lieu de manifestation apprécié des associations et un lieu de vente aux enchères publiques, le chemin public qui passe sur le côté de la fontaine sera déplacé vers le sud. Il s'agit du dernier tronçon conservé d'un chemin de transport historique : il reliait le vignoble, documenté depuis 1284, et le château construit au début du 17e siècle dans le Wangensbach au port près du château de pierre (appelé "Steinburghab"). |
