Description
English: Julia “Annie” Scripps (1847-98) was one of the few family members that Ellen B. Scripps spoke of with affection. and quite Ellen a religious described person” her with as “very an “intelligent gentle, patient, face”; she thought her “the ablest of the lot.” Photo original held at Mahn Center for Archives and Special Collections, Ohio University Libraries.
