Description
English: This hand-coloured tree lithograph comes from a collection entitled "Études de Paysages" or Studies of Landscapes. Jules Coignet (1798-1860) was the student of Jean Victor Bertin (1767-1842), and regularly exhibited his oil studies at the Paris Salon. He also produced many pencil drawings of topographical views and landscape details such as trees, shrubbery, and rocks.
