Summary

[edit]
Description

This is a 4 foot x 6 foot sculpture entitled 'Jubilee' that was the featured piece in my June 2009 solo exhibit at Nara during a 'First Friday' event in Kansas City's own Crossroads Arts District. The work consisted of PVC, foam core, RJ-45 (coax cable), plaster, plastic and wood. It was painted with a combination of latex, enamel, polyurethane and glue. This work, while still for sale, was one of my greatest accomplishments regarding a method and sculpture approach. There is a complete webpage devoted to its construction at: http://sites.google.com/site/alexhamilportfolio/home/auctionitems/jubilee and photos of the event at: http://picasaweb.google.com/alexpaints/FirstFridayJune5thPhotosFromNaraEventSpaceAlexHamil# Feel free to contact me with questions, comments or a wish to purchase any of the works shown.
