Deutsch: Josef Thorak (deutsch, 1889-1952): Arbeit, 1928. Berlin-Westend, Knobelsdorffstraße. (...In ihrer vereinfachten Form, dem auf die Architektur abgestimmten Steinmaterial und ihrer symmetrischen Aufstellung handelt es sich um einen bemerkenswerten Versuch,"Neues Bauen" und Plastik zu verbinden. Es greift zu kurz, diese Skulpturen - wie häufig geschehen - nur als stilistische und inhaltliche Vorläufer der NS-Zeit zu interpretieren. (Ursel Berger) [1])

For works of architecture, this provision shall be applicable only to the external appearance."
