Mora Found Incompetent. Famous Photographer Lived a Recluse on Charity in the Breslin. Maria Jose Mora, stage and society photographer of New York forty years ago, who has lived for fifteen years a recluse in the Hotel Breslin Manhattan, spending 15 cents a day for pies and cakes and depending on charity of other guests for food despite his several savings accounts, was declared incompetent by a sheriff's jury in Manhattan yesterday was found unconscious in his room and sent to St. Vincent's Hospital on June 1. His room, which was strewn with scraps of food, contained two pigeons almost dead in a box. In his bathroom, which was fastened by four padlocks the tub was filled with newspapers and theatrical programs of many years ago.
