Description |
English: cabinet with 11 compartments; depicted is the so-called Løvenørn-goblet in ivory (with a children's Bacchanal) with silver mount by the Hamburg artist Joachim Henne (c. 1630/40- after 1707; court artist in Copenhagen 1667-1691); on the portrait medaillon in the middle Christian IV of Denmark (1577-1648) is depicted; another medaillon shows the heads of two black men; referred is also to Trankebar/Tranquebar in East-India (Tamil Nadu); two glass Nürnberger footed cups one with Apollo and Daphne; the other with a hunting scene; goblet with the seven Artes Liberales (Pauli et al. 1956, p. 72), also by Joachim Henne(?); Japanese lacker cabinet; a goblet with cover from Augsburg decorated with garnets; Venetian tazza; two pendeloques; bezoar; kidney shaped case for glasses; a letter with red seal. |
